I never got that song. I think she missed the fundamentals of irony.

#I mean 10,000 spoons when all you need it a knife.

Lets break that down. The place most likely to have 10,000 spoons is a spoon factory and they are likely to have a canteen for their staff with knives, forks and spoons or a place that sells cutlery in which case they are likely to sell knives and forks along with the spoons.

Is not ironic, it’s tragic.

Rain on a wedding day isn’t irony. Some would call it a good omen as rain is often a symbol of new life, a new start, a rebirth, etc...
